🌸 Introduction:
Bhai Dooj, celebrated two days after Diwali, honors the special bond between brothers and sisters. It is a day of affection, blessings, and promises of protection and love.
🌼 Legend:
According to mythology, Lord Yama visited his sister Yamuna on this day. She welcomed him with a tilak and sweet offerings. Pleased by her devotion, Yama declared that brothers visiting their sisters on this day would be blessed with long life and happiness. Since then, this day is known as Yam Dwitiya or Bhai Dooj.

- Sisters perform aarti and apply a sacred tilak on their brother’s forehead.
- Brothers give gifts and promise lifelong protection to their sisters.
- Families celebrate together with sweets and joy.
