🪔 Introduction:
Govardhan Puja, also known as Annakut or Padva, is celebrated the day after Diwali. It marks the occasion when Lord Krishna lifted the Govardhan Hill to protect the people of Vrindavan from torrential rains caused by Lord Indra.

This festival symbolizes faith, gratitude, and humility. It reminds devotees to respect nature and express thankfulness for the food and shelter provided by the earth. The worship of Lord Krishna and the Govardhan Hill is believed to bring prosperity and happiness.

- People create a symbolic hill of cow dung to represent Govardhan Parvat and decorate it beautifully.
- Offerings of various dishes known as Annakut are made to Lord Krishna.
- Devotees worship cows, calves, and Lord Krishna with prayers and incense.
